This review is from: Grobag Baby Sleeping Bag 2.5 Tog, Dotty Day Out, 18-36 Months (Baby Product)
Our daughter, 19-months, was having a terrible time staying asleep at night once the cold weather hit, because she rolls around a lot and the blankets never stayed on her... she would be cornered up in her crib cold and unable to sleep. We searched for a sleep sack for her age and they were hard to find and the ones that I did find were all light and would not help us with the warmth factor. After finding this and finding good reviews along with it, we decided to try it even though it was pretty expensive. I have to say that this sleep sack has been our best purchase to date for our LO! She sleeps through the night every night now and is nice and warm all night long. On top of that, it keeps her from crawling out of her crib! I love that the sack zips from top to bottom, so there is no danger of my LO getting the zipper in her mouth at all, it even has a piece of material that snaps over the zipper making it that much more difficult for her to get ahold of. Also, you cannot beat the design... bright colors and animals (elephants happen to be LO's favorite)! The only downside is that when she has the sleep sack on before getting in her crib at night, she can't walk in it. So, you have to time it that she gets in the sleep sack just before going into her crib for bedtime, but that's not really a big deal unless if you are looking for something they can walk in. Love this!

I needed something comfortable and warm for my infant to get through cold nights when she was too young for loose blankets. I wanted something warm but didn't want to worry about her overheating either. This bag was exactly what I needed. It's a pillowy cotton (machine washable!!) and the zipper starts at the top and zips down, with a cloth/snap cover for the zipper. It stays in place, has fit her since 5 mos old, and she is now 1 year with more room to grow! (I purchased the 6-18 mo size first, and plan to buy the bigger one when she outgrows this one.) Both my kids loved to be swaddled and feel cozy. This did the trick when she was too old for swaddling and writhing out of her swaddle. One of the major benefits that I didn't even realize when getting this, is that it keeps them from getting their legs caught in the crib rails when rolling around! (We don't use bumpers due to suffocation risk). With my older son, he was always waking and irate because he had rolled his legs through the crib rails and couldn't get them back through. While my daughter rolls around all over the place, we have never once had that happen thanks to this Grobag sleeping bag! I would buy it all over again, would definitely recommend to anyone. I would even say this is one of the best and most useful things we purchased for our second child, especially wished we would have had it for the first!

My son has used this for the past 4.5 months (starting at age 13 months, since he's in the upper percentiles for height), and it has worked like a charm. Very durable - none of the stitching has frayed at all, despite weekly washings. Perfect weight with a long-sleeved onesie in the summer (thermostat around 73) or with fuzzy pajamas in the winter (thermostat around 66). It's roughly 3-4" longer than the Halo versions that claim to fit the same age range, which has been great for us. Overall, we've been very happy with this sleeping bag!
