5.0 out of 5 stars Cozy but not too warm
I was concerned when I first recieved this item that it would be too warm for my daughter who tends to be hot natured. We keep the house at about 68 degrees and it keeps her perfectly warm. She sleeps in socks, pants and a long sleeve t-shirt. I also like that it has an opening for a harness so it can be used in a stoller or car seat.

2.0 out of 5 stars Love the fabric, but the lack of shoulder snaps a deal breaker
I really wanted to like this sleep sack. The print is absolutely adorable, and the fabric is soft and nice and cozy. Unfortunately I returned it because I got spoiled by the Baby Deedee Sleep Nest and the fact that it has snaps on the shoulders as well as the bottom to top zipper. The shoulder snaps are really key for me. If my baby falls asleep before I get him in...

5.0 out of 5 stars Do these come in Mommy sizes?, February 9, 2012

We were co-sleepers for 10 months and it was time to get my little one into her own crib at night. We used sleep sacks with my older daughter, but we lived in an area with milder winters than we do now. As a result, the Aiden & Anais sleep sacks just weren't cutting it, so we decided to try the Grobag. The first night my daughter wore her Grobag (about a week ago) over her regular pajamas, she slept through the entire night without waking once--no joke. These things are warm and cozy and they don't stretch out like the muslin sleeping bags. Although this one has a zippered back flap for travel in the car or the stroller, we haven't used it for that and I'm not sure we will. We purchased this one because it was cheaper than the other 2.5 tog design and the flap doesn't get in the way at all.

If my baby falls asleep before I get him in the bag, I can just lay him down on top of it and he doesn't wake up as I snap the snaps and do the zipper. With this one, you have to actually move their arms into the arm-holes, which my baby at least will not sleep through. If they added shoulder snaps I would definitely re-buy this.

This is the best thing ever for comfy babies in colder climates. We live in Montana, so use this sleep sack most of the year. It is well made and very pretty. Our daughter still has plenty of room at 16 months. She sleeps in footie pajamas, a short sleeved onesie, and the sleep sack.

I ordered this when my daughter kept throwing her blanket off at night and waking because she was cold. This works like a charm, she slept through the second night we used it. Ordering another so I can wash one while she wears the other.

5.0 out of 5 stars First-rate baby sleep bag!, December 22, 2011

This review is from: Grobag Baby Sleeping Bag 2.5 Tog, Gro-Ing Places, 6-18 Months (Baby Product)
This bag is so well made in every way! Their attention to detail is impressive. The two-way zipper is protected by a fabric flap on top (chin guard) and by a tab that you button at the bottom. The zipper itself, by the way, is sturdy, unlike most zippers these days, which are so flimsy and cheap. The fabric is very soft, and the print is lovely. The 2.5 tog is fluffy and warm like a comforter. And I thought it was a very nice touch that the bag came with a cardboard thermometer to use in baby's room and a chart on how to keep baby at the right temperature (to avoid overheating).

Up until now I was using Halo sacks for my baby, but I was always a bit put off by the flimsy zippers that have no fabric cover or protection (not on either end, not along the edges). I was very happy to find an alternative that is better constructed and made with better materials, and I'm fine with paying more for it. The Grobag has a larger lifespan (6-18 months) and will be worth it in the long run.

I guess the only drawback so far is that my baby, who is almost 9 months and tall for her age, still "swims" in this bag, which is very long. She can't turn as easily so she doesn't like it so much yet. I'll have to give her time so she can grow into it.
