ACCURATE DIAMOND GAUGE

I don't care what any bean counter says, these things are spot on for anything less than a carat. I've been using them for years and haven't gotten tripped up yet. Not to mention they're quick. Who has time to bust out a micrometer and the book that comes with it when a customer is waiting on the other side of the counter? And who trusts what's stamped on the inside of the ring?

I've bought at least fifty of these over the years and it's what I get for all of my people. The best part is, you can put this on a ball style chain to keep right beside your loupe. Do yourself a favor though - use a vice (clamp down on the round part, leaving the rivet only a smidge above), a little screw driver to break off the splayed part of the rivet and a little punch to tap it out. I learned this the hard way.

It makes training people alot easier too.

This is cheap, reliable and will make your life alot easier.
