Not the book by Mike Kunkel,
This review is from: Grommitts (Paperback)
The complete manuscript of the play by Australian Author Kathy Lette isn't to be confused with the book "Grommitts" by Mike Kunkel.
Kathy has a knack for satirical, biting stories that centre on themes of women and sexuality. Not for the prudish, her work is humorous and makes some very valid and sometimes inflamatory points about life, society and women's sexuality. Grommitts is Kathy's view of growing up as a teenage surfer in Australia. The language is very street-wise and may be upsetting to some parents to find their teenagers reading such things, but many teenagers are already well aware of such language, and within the context of this play, this language sets the proper feel.
