This portable greenhouse is wonderful for gardeners who want to get seedlings started in the spring, or grow hot-weather plants in cooler climates. The greenhouse is constructed of a material called Soloron, which is a woven and glazed polyethylene of commercial quality. The fabric is about 26 millimeters thick and has UV inhibitors so it allows 79 percent of sunlight to pass through. A coating applied to the Soloron keeps condensation from reducing the amount of light transmission and UV-stable synthetic thread provides a strong hold and prevents mildew from forming on the material. The GabelHaus model measures 10 feet long by 6 feet wide and covers about 60 square feet of yard space when set up. It has a center height of 8 feet, 3 inches, so gardeners can easily stand up straight in it while tending to their plants. For stability, the greenhouse has an all-steel powder-coated frame with steel joints and steel stakes to firmly root it into the ground. The GabelHauss door also has a reinforced steel frame and a unique catch system to keep curious critters away from indoor gardening projects. Screened vents on the front and back of the GabelHauss eves, and on the lower half of the door and back wall, provide ample air ventilation for healthy growing.
