This book is more than just a good humor gift. There is honest advice in this book that I as a typical groom never would have anticipated. I am just under 100 days away from my wedding, and I can honestly say this book has given me irreplaceable advice. Without it, I would probably be mad by now. ;)

I wish I had acquired and read this book *before* we became so involved in wedding planning. There is a lot of great stuff in here about the proposal and early engagement process (namely the guest list) that would have been infinitely more useful to me at the beginning of my engagement. Nonetheless, this is a great book. If you've just recently popped the question, or are even thinking of popping the question, GET THIS BOOK. It is money well spent.

My fiance bought me a copy of the bride's instruction manual after he proposed, which I thought was really cute and had some helpful organizational advice. I found out there was a corresponding groom's instruction manual so I decided to get it for him. It makes a cute gift, but pretty much every piece of advice in every chapter is "do what the bride says." I know it's supposed to be kind of a silly book, but I didn't find really anything in here that was actually helpful like in the bride's manual. It does make a really cute gift for a groom-to-be, though, so I still give it a good rating. Cute, but not helpful like the bride's.

This is a great book. It's funny, so it can be a gag gift, but it also has some helpful information. I got it for my fiance and he's been dutifully reading it and seemingly enjoying it. He seems to be particularly interested in the section about who is this financee and what happened to the woman I love. I like the part where it tells him that his finacee is always right.
The one drawback...the opening section is on proposing, and it would have been a bit forward to give it to him before he proposed.

I orignially got this for my fiance but I started reading it before I saw him and I had to finish it. I bought another 2 for my co-workers who will be getting married soon as well. It's a fun book and it talks about things that as a bride I wouldn't necessarily have thought of.

This book is so helpful to grooms who have no idea what they are getting into. It has points laid out from the guests to watch out for, who to sit where, and budget lists for people to follow. GREAT

I got this book for my brother and only sort of meant it as a serious gift. He is getting married in 2013 and they haven't started planning yet, but with this book, planning will be much easier and much less stressful! It's a fun way to keep organized and be sure that you remember everything you need to have a great wedding. It's also small so it will be easy to take along when visiting different places while planning the wedding.

The book is well written in a humour way and also interest at the same time. It mentions most of the things that a groom should know before his marriage from the time proposed to the wedding ceremony.

As a graphic designer, the book is well designed with simple and understandable graphics.

I bought this book for my fiance. It arrived much earlier than I anticipated, and my fiance is really enjoying the read. However, the book isn't put together all that well and some pages have been falling out.

I bought this for my Husband and He thought it was great while we were wedding planning. I also got this for one of my best friends when he got engaged. They love it and use it for a mood lightner :)

I am a bride and thus already knew pretty much everything in the book already, but I think this is a good overview of what's involved in planning a wedding for grooms who haven't spent hours researching the process.
