I bought this mermaid for my 2 year old daughter who loves to watch Dora the Explorer Saves the Mermaids. The doll is soft and so cute that my 10 year old daughter is trying to convince her 2 year old sister to share it with her. My daughter hasn't put the MacKenna Mermaid down since she got her!

We bought this doll for our 2 year old and she and our 6 year old really like her. It's really clever how you can take off the tail and turn her into a regular doll. The clothes are cute and I made an extra outfit to go with her.

This is a great doll. The quality is excellent. I love that it's all soft, no plastic parts. My child carried her around for days when we first got her and has continued to play with her regularly in her rotation of favorite dolls (there are a few other dolls that she first liked but now ignores).

The way the tail can be removed and put back on is VERY clever! My only complaint is that the tail could maybe be a tiny bit roomier, or be made out of a material with a little bit of stretch b/c getting the feet into the bottom part of the tail is a tight fit, and it takes a firm grasp and a little bit of pulling to get the velcro to meet up when putting the tail back on. So my child needs help with this part, and I kind of wish it were easier to do it herself.

But really that's not a big deal, and everything else about this doll is great!

It's Christmas Eve and the doll still has NOT shown up! When I purchased it it said GUARANTEED by Christmas!! One little girl is going to very dissappointed. Groovy Girls are great but please buy yours from someone else if you want it on time!!!!! Very upset with this vendor.
