5.0 out of 5 stars The Groovy Greeks and The Rotten Romans--Great, as always!, November 30, 2009

We love all the Terry Deary books. My sons read them all (my sons are now in 7th and 9th grades) as they do great summaries of key points and offering stunning and gross tidbits to really make it easy to remember those key elements. This is how to LEARN history as you really remember it this way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good history read, July 29, 2011

My daughter who is 8 loves these books and my 12 year old son reads them when she is done. They do a good job of presenting history in an entertaining way. They can be a bit gruesome, but history was that way. They have facts that I didn't even know.
