Read this book..."Joo know everyting",
By
This review is from: Gross Anatomy (Board Review Series) (Paperback)
As a 1st year medical student at the University of Oklahoma, the 2nd year students told us "Memorize every word get an A; Memorize every other word, get a C." I'm a believer. This is our bible at OU. Live it. Breathe it. Shower with it. Love it. Use it as your pillow. Small size allows you to carry it to all social events. Wow your friends with fun anatomy facts. Quiz each other with detailed question and expanation sections. If you know Chung, "Joo know everyting! "

BRS Gross Anatomy,

This review is from: Gross Anatomy (Board Review Series) (Paperback)
The gross anatomy board review series is quite helpful for those who struggle with gross anatomy. With the large amount of information that medical students are required to learn during their first year, this book helps to guide the student along. Although the organization of the text was something I found a little difficult to adapt to(sections are organized by systems rather than by relationship), I still found the book to be immensely helpful in reviewing for tests. As a SUPPLEMENTAL text, it does the job quite nicely and would be worth buying for sure.

Very helpful! Great for reviewing, studying or preparing for a class or exam. Muscle reviews are excellent, althought I found that chapter 5 (abdominal region)was not very organized and lacked some important details.

I use this book to study for the incourse exams. I like it very much. It is fantastic! It makes your life easier and more comfortable. It minimizes your time of studying espacially if you have a lot of information to study. Excelent for reviewing before the final exam. It is recomended for those who have short time and large material to study (like me scince I'm a medical student, 3rd year)

This review is from: Gross Anatomy (Board Review Series) (Paperback)
I used this text, more than my own medical anatomy book. It's clearly a powerful tool and review for the boards. A must if you are preparing for your boards or taking anatomy

This is an amazing book. It's easy to understand and contains nothing but relevant information. Wonderful for the USMLE. This book is considered "the Bible" for many medical students.

This review is from: Gross Anatomy (Board Review Series) (Paperback)
This product is helpful for studying for Gross Anatomy. There are a lot of questions to practice and it's short and to the point. Not as many questions as in the 4th or 5th ed, but for the price, it's perfect

I found the summarys in this book extremely helpful and thought highly of the BRS Gross Anatomy until I started to take the review tests at the end of each chapter. The questions are full of errors, likely due to shoddy editing. Be wary!

medical graduate,

If you think abt. USMLE Step 1, this book is excellent as a reference, with many clinical comments inside and usmle-like questions.
500+ pages. Valuable choice (comparing different prices). Additional atlas is necessary. My opinion: after reading this book carefully - one has no problem with short reviews and can gain max points for anatomy (but don't forget - it contains only gross anatomy so you need sth for embryo, histo and neuro). You can find anatomy audio review (abt. 45 min. lectures in the net) based on this book (some parts of podcast 'Medkast'). |
