Wonderful Radio Show,
This review is from: Groucho: You Bet Your Life (Radio Reruns) (Audio Cassette)
This short tape is an uncut recording of a 1947 broadcast of Groucho Marx's popular radio show called You Bet Your Life. It is a fairly unstructured quiz show where contestants come to win money by answering questions about the popular culture of the time. Most of the program consists of Marx asking the guests questions about their lives, namely their occupations and their love lives, and making jokes about them. It is a truly funny show with some interesting guests. The one complaint about this tape is that it includes only one episode of the show. It is so good, one can't help but want to listen to more. Unfortunately, it seems there are no others available.
