A Great Introduction to GPR,
By
This review is from: Ground-Penetrating Radar for Archaeology (Geophysical Methods for Archaeology) (Paperback)
I bought this book to familiarize myself with how GPR works in advance of performing an archaeological study of two historic cemeteries in Middle Georgia. It was a great introduction to the subject, and is written for the educated reader in largely laymen's terms. There is a wonderful illustration of how GPR works in one of the early chapters. I recommend this book to anyone using remote sensing on a professional project, especially if you are not a geophysicist yourself.

This review is from: Ground-Penetrating Radar for Archaeology (Geophysical Methods for Archaeology) (Paperback)
Excellent book describing the procedures and operations of Ground Penetrating Radar for people that may benefit from the technology. As a surveyor requiring the location of underground features, I found the book extremely useful in understanding the proper methods of using the equipment to obtain the results needed. The language is relatively easy to comprehend and the presentation balanced and easily understood. I would highly recommend this book to anyone desirous of or involved in the knowledge of subsurface studies and analysis.
