Group Strength Training provides a broad overview of this fitness category and serves as an excellent foundation for anyone interested in expanding their teaching expertise in this area.

This book picks up where ACE’s Group Fitness Instructor Manual leaves off, providing the specific knowledge to teach safe and effective group strength training classes.

Author Richard J. Seibert provides extensive coverage of training techniques for all of the body’s major muscle groups and focuses on the importance of effective exercise sequencing and smooth transitions between different pieces of equipment and various body positions. The exercises incorporate the use of elastic resistance, body bars and exercise balls, along with body weight, barbells and dumbbells.
