4.0 out of 5 stars everything on how to get the fastest possible results., July 14, 1999
This review is from: Grow: A 28-Day Crash Course for Getting Huge (Paperback)
this book certainly lives upto it's claim of big muscles in only 28 days. it has the most productive techniques and surefire routines. very practical, easy to read and inspiring photos. it cuts through all the misinformation which is present on the subject through the various muscle mags. only one drawback; it is a bit too simplistic and the reader must obtain the authors other books to apply the advice more thoroughly. but if you want to get the fastest results then this book is a must. i've used the principles in it for over six months and the results exceeded my expectations.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth buying., October 19, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Grow: A 28-Day Crash Course for Getting Huge (Paperback)
I've just got done reading this book, and although I haven't tried it's principles, it makes a lot of sense. I was annoyed however at all of those huge distracting pictures in the background, and although I appreciated the author mentioning steroids, I did not appreciate him not mentioning that nearly all of those pictured were on them. He also didn't mention anything about aerobics, nor did he mention anything about what one can do if they wanted to focus on a body part. Overall though, this has been the best book that I have read as of yet on this subject.

1.0 out of 5 stars CAN work, if your stomach is a bottom-less pit.., February 13, 2001

I read GROW! cover to cover in less than an hour, sitting in my local bookstore. It didn't take long for me to realize that the recommended caloric intake the author recommends for this program is absurd. The workout routine seems half-way decent, but the diet? You've got to be kidding me. A 200 lb. individual, looking to pack on some size would have to eat about 6,000 calories per day on this program to follow it to the T. Anyone who is 200 lbs. and can eat 6,000 calories on a daily basis deserves a hearty handshake, pat on the pack, and a test for intestinal worms, which might be sucking the nutrients right out of you. It's not logical to follow this type of program. You will feel sluggish, bloated, and will get fat from force feeding your body in this manner.

This is hands down the worst book on bodybuilding I have ever read.
