This is a fabulous book for someone who wants to read some Sangam Tamil, Sanskrit and Prakrit love poems in English. I don't know the latter two languages, but like their poems in English. The Tamil translations are done very well. The author brings out the beauty of the ancient Sangam poems in her English translations. She also provides information about the antiquity of the Sangam poems, and about how they were found after very many centuries of being lost.
I am waiting for her translation of the Ainkurunuru poems.
