More About the Author

Praveen Kumar is a best selling author who was abandoned by his father at the age of fourteen and joined the Navy at tender age of fifteen where education and free rations were guaranteed.

In order to understand the root cause of suffering he turned towards philosophy and religion. His intense spiritual quest lasted for over fifteen years. During this period he totally neglected the material side of life.

Then one fine day he understood that 'life is 'and material and spiritual world are closely interwoven. You cannot live in one without the other. There is a saying that 'Once your mind expands it never goes back to its original state'. Something of the sorts happened to him and the transition happened within a very short period of time. His doubts and sufferings vanished and his mind became balanced and steady.

One of the reasons he identified as root cause of his suffering was his deep seated financial insecurity resulting from his childhood deprivation. He took pre-mature retirement from the Navy after having successfully commanded submarines and set about building his financial future.

Within short span of a decade starting out with virtually no capital he built his financial empire through real estate investing and internet marketing that has allowed him to retire and work from home.

Praveen strongly feels that it is only through increasing ones spiritual, emotional and financial intelligence can someone transform not only ones own life but also of his loved ones. He now writes books and articles on financial and spiritual matters to empower people to improve their lives.

I downloaded this book based on the glowing reviews (9 of them). When I started paging through it I realized that it was only 18 pages long! I wouldn't mind paying 38 cents (US) a page if the book provided me with a new tidbit or tip on networking that was unique or new. Instead this seemed more like a short magazine article or blog post from a free website.

There is nothing new that you find in this ebook that you couldn't find by Googling "networking basics". I cannot recommend this book, since I felt ripped off.

I am a businessman and network regularly. I am not a competitor nor do I know the author. I have no axe to grind. I just don't want others to spend money on this ebook that won't likely help them, let alone help them get rich.

When I first looked at the book "How to Grow Rich with the Power of Networking (How To Create Wealth)", I noticed and read the one star review and wondered if I should buy the book. I then read all the five star reviews and decided to go ahead and buy the book and am glad I did. The one star review is wrong since the book offers a great deal of useful information. If you do not know much about networking, this book will introduce you and encourage you to start networking, The book explains that business networking is a socioeconomic activity by which groups of like-minded businesspeople recognize, create, or act upon business opportunities. You also should keep in mind that networking is about being genuine and authentic, building trust and relationships, and seeing how you can help others. This great book explains all this in detail. I bought it, so should you---highly recommended.

I didn't have to be sold on the idea that networking is important. Networking -- in other words, the people I know -- are what landed me my last three jobs. This book contains lots of great information about networking, including my favorite insight about giving to others. If you help others, you'll get help back. I'm always happy to help my friends and co-workers and that has come back to me manifold. If you aren't sure about networking, this is a good book to get you on the road to setting up a network of your own.
