Read This Before You Throw Your Money Away,
By A Customer
This review is from: Grow Young with HGH: The Amazing Medically Proven Plan to Reverse Aging (Paperback)
I read this book and, like so many other people, I was very impressed. I then went out and used Ultra Max hGH from The Ageless Foundation for six months at a cost of $600. I had absolutely no results. I waited a couple of months and then tried a subliminal homeopathic oral HGH from Icom Nutritional Research Labs. This cost about $190 and once again, I could discern no results. Then I went into Edwin M. Lichten, M.D.'s [website] which was listed on page 319 of Dr. Katz's book. In this website, Dr. Licten explains why oral HGH does not work!In all fairness to Dr. Katz, I believe his book focuses on HGH injections. Only near the end of the book does he promote secretagogues. Dr. Lichten is highly supportive of the injections, but he claims that after age fifty (I was exactly that age when I tried this) the oral HGH will not get your hormones up to the point of being effective. I know that there are many people saying how great it has worked for them and some of them may be telling the truth, but bear in mind that anyone selling these products can write a review and act like they are Jane or Joe Consumer. Never in the history of the world have so many people been out there trying to get your money. Get more information than I did before you throw yours out the window, especially if you are past fifty. ...

Factual, an eye-opener and GH works like nothing else.,

We're all looking for answers and we are all trying to accept the fact that we are aging and losing the vibrant health we once had. This book tells you like it is. Open you mind and become aware that there is no need to age to the degree we once did. This book can be the solution to so many of our health issues. Wrinkles, lack of enery, libido, colds, allergies. I've used growth hormone for 8 months and have not had one cold or sinus attack. Have lost all cellulite, toned up my muscles and lost body fat. I'll never stop taking it. I'm 50 years old and before starting GH was about ready to give up. I've got a new life and I plan to feel and look good for many years to come.

Secretagogues,
By Bonnie Church (Boone, NC United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Grow Young with HGH: The Amazing Medically Proven Plan to Reverse Aging (Paperback)
Dr. Klatz did an excellent job outlining the history and benefits of HGH role in age reversal. About a month ago I tried a high quality source of secretegogues. Secretagogue is a supplement that increases the production of HGH naturally. My results have been amazing...Within 3 weeks I lost fat, eliminated menopausal fatigue, depression and hot flashes. I am 48 years old and feel 10 years younger. But LET THE BUYER BEWARE - there is alot of junk out there masquerading as HGH precursor. Look for a reliable source of secretegogue in powder form... with no fillers and no animal HGH... A high quality formula is not inexpensive - but in my opinion it's priceless.

The Future of Medicine,
By A Customer
This review is from: Grow Young with HGH: The Amazing Medically Proven Plan to Reverse Aging (Paperback)
As we approach the 3rd millenium, our thinking and management of the diseases of aging will be crucial to the vitality of our society---especially since we now take care of an ever-aging society. As a physician, I believe a hormonal basis of the decline in functioning is the key to understanding the process of aging, and GH-releasers or secretagogues are very poweful and safe nutrients in replenishing normal levels of gorwth hormone. They are scientifically proven to stimulate GH release and can be afforded by the average bear. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Future of the Medicine!

Good, but needs more warnings and caveats,
By Stuart Cracraft "smcracraft" (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Grow Young with HGH: The Amazing Medically Proven Plan to Reverse Aging (Paperback)
The book needs a revision - generally good, it is too much
on the pro-side and doesn't warn sufficiently against taking too much and the possible cancer issues of too much and why the natural turndown of GH by the body itself during aging is an anti-cancer approach to permitting longer life by preventing GH-caused cancer. Nor does it adequately describe why it is important to stay within range if you are low but not to supplement beyond if you are normal or high. Also, it is out-of-date with respect to suppliers as very inexpensive injectable recombinant GH is now available from major non-U.S. corporations that are as good or better than U.S.-manufactured GH, for a fraction of the price.

This book changed me, HGH simply is fantastic!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Grow Young with HGH: The Amazing Medically Proven Plan to Reverse Aging (Paperback)
I read the book and found it very informative and decided it was worth trying an HGH product for myself. I'm a bit of a pessimist, but all the true pessimist I know seem to never enjoy life and well....die young or grow into grumpy old men and women, so I researched the material and decided that it was best to persue an orally injested HGH product. If HGH worked so well for older individuals, what about a middle aged person like me? I followed the sequence of processes Dr. Klatz suggested along with the HGH product and after two months, I was simply astounded at the change in my body and concentration level, I amazingly feel 10 years younger. Its the best purchase I have ever made!

..where are the results in real people? Not the 'real people' who rave about products in various venues, but people that you/I meet in real life. I'm involved with alternative medicine, and whenever I see anyone,(known to me or not), who appears to have improved physically,I try to find out how and why.My informal survey, which adds up to thousands of people in the last few years since this book has been out, comes up with a big fat -zero- for HGH and it's precursors,in any form except for injectable HGH itself. A little research of the good doctor reveals business affiliations with at least some of the companies whose products he recommends. I consider this book a catalog.(As for the latest craze, 'homeopatic hgh', please realize what homeopathic formulas actually are:_incredibly_ weak dilutions. That's why it's legal. If you ascribe to the homeopatic philosophy, fine, but I find that most people don't know what they're getting into:The theoretically perfect homeopathic dilution would have _none-of the original ingrediant left in it, just the 'energy pattern' formed from it's having once been there. Like I said, if you go for that, fine, but be forewarned.)

Some Good Advice Surrounded by Hype,
By
This review is from: Grow Young with HGH: The Amazing Medically Proven Plan to Reverse Aging (Paperback)
Whenever a new miracle wonder drug hits the market, the result is usally a wave of books written by pseudo-experts or health care professionals with a financial axe to grind. It is rare to find an objective and understandable text for the layman that outlines this new wonder drug's plusses and minuses. In the case of GROW YOUNG WITH HGH, Dr. Ronald Klatz has written a text that falls somewhere between the two. Much of Dr. Klatz's opinion is based on results that were obtained by the painful and expensive method of injecting HGH directly into the bloodstream. Those who had the tolerance for discomfort and high cost usually obtained impressive gains. No small wonder here, since the HGH injected was far more potent than what is available on the internet without prescription. Further, these recipients received their doses under a doctor's care. The problem with non-prescription HGH is that it is nowhere as potent as that delivered via injection. Additionally, the fact that those who buy HGH on the internet are not particularly well-versed on exactly what they are ingesting. In defense of Dr.Klatz, he makes these very points, even if in so doing, he still manages to disguise this warning under a heavy blanket of hype and blurb. Those, like myself, who have read his book, need to do more than read it before purchasing HGH. Additional research is needed. In my case, I discovered that HGH is truly not a means to turn back the hands of time. Frequent visits to the doctor, a sensible diet, moderate exercise, and a non-stressful attitude toward life will accomplish much of what HGH promoters promise. HGH ought to be seen as merely one step on the spectrum to wellness. For those who wish to take HGH in any form--whether through homeopathic means, inhalers, secretagogues or whatever--should first examine his own lifestyle to determine what tinkering is needed to prepare for the next step: HGH. Dr. Klatz does do an admirable job of hitting the main points of what HGH is and how to use it, but he unfortunately gives the distinct but misleading impression that by simply taking HGH, one may indeed encounter all the hype manifested in the myriad ads of books like his. Still, with reservations, I recommend GROW YOUNG WITH HGH, but only if the potential user can separate documented fact from fanciful fiction. By the way, after six months of my taking HGH,I have experienced some--but not all--of the promised results. Pretty much what I expected.

By A Customer

Dr.Ronald Klatz book and the HGH oral spray has changed my life. I have suffered with physical pain and chronic fatigued from M.S. for fifteen years. The quality of life since starting with the HGH has improved beyond my dreams. I am a new woman with a brand new lease. I read Dr. Klatz book, listened to his radio interviews and started on the HGH. I noticed improvements in my physical well being in days--now four weeks later it just keeps getting better. I found a distribution Company in the area met the owners and bought six bottles. My own clinical trials has been giving a bottle of the HGH oral spray and Dr. Klatz book to family and friends. I no longer am sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Better than the name.,
This review is from: Grow Young with HGH: The Amazing Medically Proven Plan to Reverse Aging (Paperback)
Human Growth Hormone isn't just for "growth", it's for"regrowth". Klatz's book is a clear cut explanation of all the ways HGH can rebuild, strengthen, stimulate, etc. our cells. We need to understand how the stresses placed upon our bodies and the semi-nutritional diet most of us are destined to follow are stripping our health. HGH helps restore some of those losses. We can't go back and re-live our teen years, eating more sensibly. We can't wish back all the nutrients soda pop stripped from our bones, but we can rebuild some of that with HGH.... |
