The flowers were a gift, but the receipent was greatly pleased withe them, she said that they were beautiful and lasted quite a long while.

My mother-in-law has everything that she needs, so buying birthday gifts for her can be stressful. This year, I ran into a time crunch, and since she lives about 200 miles away, the only option I had was the internet. I figured flowers would be nice, but I wanted something decent that wouldn't take a lot of cash. I took a chance on ordering Grower's Choice, but I knew my mother-in-law would appreciate knowing that a local florist benefitted. So with a bit of trepidation I ordered.

The order took 3 days over a weekend to get to her. She was bowled over, and I was too when I saw the pictures. 20 absolutely stunning roses greeted her on her special day. It was a much better price and product than flowers I have ordered from 1-800 or FTD. I highly recommend this service!

So I placed my order on a Sunday for a Tuesday delivery for Valentine's Day. The flowers were to be for my mom. I thought everything was fine until ProFlowers contacted me Tuesday afternoon saying there was an error and they were canceling my order. They could have contacted me Sunday or Monday (they didn't). They could have apologized and said they would redeliver on Wednesday (they didn't). They just said they weren't going to charge my credit card (Gee thanks).

I submitted a complaint via Amazon and finally was contacted with an apology (again, no mention of resending my flowers). After a week, I finally got them to send the flowers to my mom. The topper was my mom called me today (Feb 23rd) and she said she got the flowers and started laughing. She explained that she got a call from someone saying that they received flowers by mistake. My poor mom had to drive over to pick up her flowers from someone else because ProFlowers delivered them to the wrong address. The flowers had been squished as well.

According to the recipient, the flowers were lovely multicolored stems of roses. The downside was that the included vase was a little too tall and didn't let the flowers spread out. She said she only cut an inch off the stems but that the vase would have been too tall even if she hadn't trimmed anything.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but the reviews were very good, so I gave it a whirl. Growers Choice delivered a dozen and a half roses to my friend who had just gotten home from the hospital! Absolutely gorgeous! Fresh, a couple buds were still closed so they will be beautiful for a while. (I've added a photo in the area where customers can share their images.) This is my new secret!! Absolutely wonderful!!!

What seemed like a great deal on the first web click, but got worse every screen. At least four screens popped up, each with an additional charge for "shipping & handling" that needed to be applied. These all added up to no deal at all; yet every screen kept reminding me I was getting the "deluxe" vase for "free". $8 extra to get flowers "delivered the day after tomorrow" ? To add insult to injury, the flowers arrived late and clearly had been sent long distance. Embarrassed how bad the flowers looked.

Received flowers is plenty of time thank goodness, They were very disappointing. Had 13 tulip stems of which 2 of those were broken. They were in very tight buds so had no "wow" factor. I ran to a grocery store and purchased flowers for the same price that were much better than those I receive. I WILL NEVER GO THIS ROUTE AGAIN. For the price I'll go back to local or even "grocery stores" from what I have seen.

Be sure to read this completely before making judgement.
I raked this company over the coals losing my daughters flowers. TWICE!
The first delivery statement said that they left them by the door. Well she lives in an apartment and that would be ridiculous!
They said they would make it right and resent and also refunded the shipping and handling.
The second delivery was also lost and, like an angered grizzly, I let the customer service have it….AGAIN. They said that they would make sure that my daughter got her flowers and they refunded the total amount for the issues that I had to go through.
After hanging up with customer service, my daughter called to tell me that she received a call from a guy that said he keeps getting her flowers. That's when my daughter told me that I had sent them to her old apartment! Needless to say I felt like a real genuine turd.
I called back to confess and try to make it right. They would not accept any money or a reorder. They still maintained that I was to be refunded and thanked me for calling to make it right. They were just happy that my daughter got her flowers and wished me a good day.
I will be using this company, many, many times in the future.

Mom was very pleased. The flowers beautiful, were well packaged and lasted several weeks. The bouquet was very large. The only concern I had was that the flowers were left outside in February in Michigan; fortunately, they were not out very long & the packaging protected them. I'm not sure why that happened, since my mom was home.
