Designed to look nice in any room, this functional unit (Model # G22A) allows you to start many plants in a small area or display your houseplants. Two fixed shelves each holds an extra-strong tan Perma-Nest tray 22-inch long x 11-inch wide x 2-1/2-inch deep. You can simply adjust the fluorescent fixture up or down by using the integrated slide system featuring convenient knobs that tighten the fixture to slide rods at each end of the stand. Provides over 12 inches of adjustment above the tray.

Purchased this light fixture to start herb seedlings, on assembly discovered one Gro-Lux 24" Flourescent bulb was bad. After checking the fixture decided to purchase a replacement bulb from another website as Amazon.com does not carry these Sylvania bulbs. Not worth the hassle of returning the entire fixture for a broken bulb, but be aware a replacement bulb will cost about $9.00 plus $9.00 shipping.

Generally a nice plant light, just wasn't package well enough to prevent bulb breakage.

This was too small to be of any use to me. I returned it and got the 50 inch wide stand. The small one might be good for a small apartment. Recommend getting the humidity cover that fits over it and will keep the humidity as high as at 70 - 80%. This will turn your black thumb green.
