THe Distracted Gardener
THe book is all right, attractive, not very informative, and the author seems more interested in the kitchen than in the kitchen garden

She explains the altitude that different fruiting plants can tolerate, as well as sun exposure and rainfall needs. I consider it a bonus that I get a recipe or two along with the growing information. If you are planning on moving to the big island and are looking for the ultimate gardening guide this is the book for you! I'm happy with the purchase and have bought the vegetable gardening book as well.
