Mr. Stormer provides a practical guide to child raising for those who wish to follow God's plan for child raising. It is filled with scripture as well as studies and research (with references). Provides discussion about how to build Biblical character traits into your child, what to expect at different ages (birth-three), and what the parents can do to build a secure home. We read this book before we had our first child and re-read parts occassionally.

I am currently reading and studying this book. It is proving to be very valuable to me as a parent. I am a stay-at-home Christian mother who agrees wholeheartedly with this author's view point. My children are adapting happily to his suggestions. Some of the things I have learned so far are: the reasons of the decline of American families, the importance of spending quality time with my children in reading, crafts, (even shopping!), teaching character-building skills and traits, keeping the TV turned OFF as much as possible, having real conversations with my children, and to be patient because training takes time!!! But, above all, this book is totally based on the truths of the Bible. This book is great! Thanks Mr. Stormer!

This book is a treasure of information and Biblical references for parents who desire to train their children according to God's plan.

In the early 1980's this book enabled the Lord to get my attention regarding parenting which led to a peaceful home and eventually led to the salvation of my youngest daughter.

Now, as a grandparent and children's ministry coordinator, the Lord continues to use this gem of a book to enable me to teach and train young parents and their families.

I highly recommend it to all parents and grandparents!
