I first heard this album working as a nurse in a hospital NICU nursery. I saw so many babies soothed and rocked to sleep with this music. It consistently drew compliments from parents. I just gave a copy to my sister-in-law for her and her new baby girl. She loves it too. Every track is soft, soothing, rocking chair-cuddle music. Highly recommended.

I first bought this CD based on the songs that it has in the CD. The first time I played it for my son--while I was trying to put him down for a nap--it worked like a charm!! We have also learned to pack the CD when we are traveling because my son (who is 19 months old now) has gotten so used to listening to it as he drifts off to sleep that sometimes, especially if we are somewhere new, he is not able to go to sleep without the CD.

I think this CD is cute. not only does it have wonderful children singing but it also has a nice instumental version. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with an infant.

As a mother of a newborn son, I have been somewhat skeptical of all the "trendy" newborn CDs being released. I bought this one on a whim, and couldn't be more pleased! The vibrant melodies weave a gossamer thread of peace over my busy life! Thanks to the twins for making such beautiful music!

This is a great CD for putting kids to sleep. The children's voices are sweet and the selection of songs is good. The instrument solos in the songs, particularly the violin and oboe are done with virtuoso quality.

The only thing making it short of five stars is the second half of the CD. The second half repeats all of the 12 songs replacing the sweet melodious children's voices with a glockenspiel. With the possible exception of a bagpipe, one could scarcely think of a worse instrument to use than a glockenspiel when trying to lull kids to sleep. Usually our kids are already asleep after the first half, but if they're not the glockenspiel tends to wake them. Why they didn't repeat the songs replacing the voice with the excellently rendered violin or oboe one can only wonder. An easy solution is to use an Mp3 capable player and use only the first half.

This is a beautiful CD for a baby! Lots of soft, wonderful, peaceful music!

My newborn and I sit and relax to this wonderful CD. Perfect soft music for little ears.

We checked this cd out from our public library for our newborn son. He is now 9 months old and we play this at bedtime every night! No other cd calms my son better than this one. The soothing sounds and sweet voices of the children are wonderful. We had tried numerous other lullaby cds, but none are more soothing than this one. It is a MUST for all sweet babies!

This would have been cute except that the voices (of the child or children singing) were annoying. The second part is all instrumental, which is nice I guess but the songs are not original or interesting. I was very disappointed in it.
