This book has got to be the best one released so far on the culture of Plumeria. From novices to experts in the field this book has information for everyone, from planting seeds to doing your own crosses, this book explains it all. Jim Little has shown his total understanding of plumeria/frangipani in writing this book, it is easy to follow, completely covers the various sections and is written in such a way that everyone will be able to understand what is being described plus as an added bonus the photographs are excellent and clear.
I would recomend this book to everyone that has a love for plumeria as it holds something for everyone, no matter where in the world you live or what your experience with these flowers, you will not be dissapointed.Growing Plumerias in Hawaii

Lush colors, unique propagation techniques, variation in shapes and size, make this book a must-have in your library. I couldn't put it down and was awed by the photography as well as the amount of time and effort Mr. Little has given to his work. I hope that his son, Clark Little, continues in his stead. As one who dabbles in rhododendrons, this book is inspiring.

I bought this book and the Eggenberger Plumeria Handbook, which also I reviewed (***).

Jim Litle's book is a joy to hold and read--a well-deserved 5 ***** from me. Printed on high quality glossy paper with a very readable print it is full of large color images of beautiful plumeria varieties and extremely well organized information and diagrams. Especially valuable is the section on cross-pollination procedures which are unique.

The information presented is very easy to reference throughout the book and works for all zones where plumerias grow. Additional tips for colder zones is also given. Easy to read and in it's apparent simplicity hides the fact there is plenty of detailed technical information to satisfy most. No-nonsense information clearly given in a very readable style.

Outstanding in every way and great value for the price. You will not need any other book on the subject.

As a novice plumeria grower I found this book to be very informative, easy to follow and very interesting so much so that I read it from cover to cover in a few days. I like the fact that it is also a 'dip' in book with easy to find chapters. The photographs including shots of plants not shown before are stunning and the pictures and diagrams showing techniques used in pruning for example are clear, concise and easy to follow. The print quality is very good and the colours shape and bright. Highly recommended.

Great new book on the subject. Horitculture is geared towards growing plumeria in Hawaii. I knew this when I purchased it and I have spoken with and like the author and his expertise on the subject. One day there will be a book that includes chapters on other growing zones. Luv the pictures.

I was looking for a book that would give me details on how to grow plumerias in pots but this book only discusses in-ground plumerias.

Jim Little explains and shows you clearly how to successfully propagate and care for your plumeria plants with precise words and beautiful photos.

I finished this book the very same day I received it! This is how intoxicating the flow of information inbued in me from Mr. Jim Little's first ever published book on Plumerias. I adore it! But I have to admit, the Plumeria (Frangipani) tree is my most favorite tree in the world; I own over eight of them!
All of the details concerning grafting (asexual propagation), protecting from frost, transporting from pot to land and vis-a-versa, etc., is all in this book at a very affordable price. Thank you, Mr. Little for a wonderful teaching in which I will NEVER EVER forget.

This book is very informative, beautiful pictures. A definite gem to own for any plumeria fan!

After coming home from Hawaii and purchasing a few Plumeria while there, i decided i needed to know about this plant.
I had checked a few books about them, and decided to purchase this book.
Its not as informative as i had hoped but it will get the beginner started in what needs to be known.
