Growing Up Absurd was released as a mini album in 1985, followed by What's In A Word in 1986 and presented here with the Fruitmachine EP. These recordings formed the blueprint for the future of the band. Catchy tunes and Davey's observational lyrics; it is a great place to start realizing the genius of The Brilliant Corners or to simply remind yourself of just how good this band actually were. 18 tracks.
