This book answered a lot of my questions about how to deal with the common, every-day problems of coping with my son as he grows up - it has helped me keep my head screwed on straight more than once, and it's also an entertaining read and sometimes hilariously funny. It has also helped shed some light on some of the future issues that I may face with my son, like telling "white lies", stealing, dealing with social problems and school problems. I even learned a thing or two about myself and how to be a better person, and how to learn things about life by watching my son with love and respect. I would recommend this book to anybody who cares about raising their children in the best way possible. I would hope that Ms. Stewart would write another parenting book on teenagers and young adults as well.

This is the first book I've ever read that didn't talk about children as if they were our enemies. It has helped me understand myself as well as my children.
