This step stool was just the right height and it's wide base offered the stability that I needed.

I wanted to get a stool that looked less like a potty training stool and like something I could re-purpose once my son has finished with potty training. I also wanted something that was nice enough that I could leave it in the dining room for him to climb into chairs and most "potty" stools are not really appropriate for the dining room. This is an attractive little stool and very sturdy [at least when I (130lbs) or my husband (185lbs)] stands on it. It has non-skid rubber floor protectors on the bottoms of the legs which I like because they don't slide on tile or hardwood floor. Unfortunately, they are just glued on, so I'm not sure how long they'll stay on. The stool measures 14.25"(W)x9"(D, at bottom of legs where there is a slight flare, which doesn't show up in the product picture) x 7.125"(H)

After having bilateral knee replacement, I needed a sturdy step stool to get into my higher than normal bed. This step stool was just the right height and it's wide base offered the stability that I needed. It is well made. Unlike the plastic stools it is an attractive piece of furniture that blends in well with our bedroom furniture.

My little boy likes to wash his hands himself. His Baby Bjorn stool is just barely (I mean, barely by a half inch!) too short for him to reach the sink properly. This stool (at a comparable price) is a couple inches higher and puts him at just the right hight for the sink.

NOTE ABOUT THE DIMENSIONS:
The dimensions here on Amazon say that some part of it is 9". I assumed this part of the measurement was the hight --I don't know if it is or not but whatever part it is referring to is incorrect. (Either way, this stool still works perfectly for us.)
The ACTUAL dimensions (that I measured myself) are 7" tall x 14" wide x 8" deep(at the very deepest part of top of stool). Just for comparison, our Baby Bjorn is 6.25" tall.

This stool is very stable and my kids have never toppled over on it or toppled forward when reaching for something. I also like that it is made from bamboo and is environmentally friendly.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs a 7" tall stool for any reason :)

i have no idea how this company sells this stool for under $25, but hey, that's their problem. this stool is VERY well made, VERY well finished, looks nice, feels nice, is sturdy, feels sturdy, steel screws are inset, etc., etc., etc. kudos to people making great quality products. love it.

Simple design, clean aesthetic, light-weight, sturdy, well-made (can easily hold 185+ pounds), renewable materials, has little rubber nubs on the bottom of the legs to prevent slipping and it's the perfect height to aid 2-4 year olds onto the toilet. The seller was efficient and shipping as reasonable.

The first stool had to be returned due to a manufacturing defect, but the easy return system with Amazon made it a "non-issue". The stool was a little smaller than I imagined, but will suit the purpose ( I needed a small step into my rather high bed/mattress)

I needed a more stable step-stool for my wife, so she can get into our somewhat high bed.

This works perfectly: very stable, and the non-skid feet work perfectly to keep it in one place.

It also looks fairly nice. The finish wasn't 100% perfect, but I didn't expect fine furniture at this price.

At this price, a very good value.

It is a bit shorter than I had envisioned.

I got this stool because I wanted one that was well made and could be used outside of just a child's room. The picture is what you get. It comes assembled and made from bamboo with nice form and stylish. A good stool that can be used by kids, and others under 150lbs. It says 200lb max, however the side panels are screwed in by four bolts, so I wouldn't trust it with higher weight/pressure. That being said, I use it as a foot stool when reading and its great. It has non skid pads as well so safe on hard surfaces. So if you are looking for a nice stool for your kids/grandkids, but don't want the cheap plastic look, or something in the shape of a car or a duck, this is a good buy. Recommended. UPDATE: After a year of use, the stool is still going strong. It looks great and has held up well under almost daily use. Mainly as a foot promp for me. One of the rubber buttons on the bottom is half off, but that's just from wear. So yes, durable as well.
