I live in the South my self and can tell you the author of Growing Up Southern is skilled in the art of story telling. I love the southern flair the book has. It gave me just a taste of home. I loved it and highly recommend it to others!

Loved this book! 2nd book I've read from this author and I enjoyed both. He is a great storyteller. This story really kept my attention all the way to the last page!

It is VERY seldom that I am so truly disappointed in a book or storyline that I am unable to complete it. This was one of those few times.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sad example of terrible formatting March 18, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
The stories could have been entertaining, but the grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors are so frequent that it makes the stories very hard to read. The most glaring problem is that the misuse of commas messes up the flow of reading so badly that it really isn't worth the effort to try to decode the text. Honestly, my 6th grade daughter could have done a better job. Don't bother.
