I bought this book for my son who absolutely loves it. It's easy to read, hilarious, and even uplifting. Since reading isn't my son's favorite thing, I read the first chapter to him and then he was hooked. He laughs so hard when he reads it, I'm not sure how he sees the page. His younger sister begs him read it to her too, and when he does, they both giggle uncontrollably.

The back of each chapter has a "God's Guide" section which includes a Bible verse reference and a couple of questions. My son usually skips this part in other books. However, while reading this book, he actually opens his Bible, looks up the verse(s), and writes his answers in the book. Each chapter concludes with a funny "Bonus" Activity, tip, or question.

My son decided this book will make great birthday gifts for some of his friends so I'm ordering more.

Hearing my son's genuine laughter makes this book worth its weight in gold! I highly recommend it.

I love this book! My mom bought it for me and I love it! I've read it twice, but I don't want to sell it because I'll read it again sometime! I really like this book! If you like Clubhouse magazine, or Average Boy you'll love this book!

My nine year-old daughter got into Average Boy from the monthly feature in her Clubhouse Magazine. This book is hilarious and brings up lots of topics that we can talk about (puberty, peer pressure, bullying) in a fun way. Girls will like this as much as boys!

We gave these as Christmas gifts, and are so glad we did. I hear my 12 year old laughing out as he reads it...awesome!

Purchased as a devotional for my almost 12 yr old son. The book is full of humorous anecdotes perfectly suited for this age group of younger boys, probably around 8-13 depending upon their maturity. Even my 15 yr old has had some good laughs over it. Gives the reader an opportunity to address real life issues in the lives of kids without being too deep and the opportunity to look at what the Bible says about them.
