This review is from: Growing & Using Chives: Storey Country Wisdom Bulletin A-225 (Paperback)
I like the Storey Country Wisdom Bulletins. They provide basics while offering suggestions to get started with plants or other projects. This booklet starts out with a brief chapter on whether or not to even grow chives. Sowing seeds with step by step instructions as well as hardening the plants off and moving to the great outdoors. Container growing for both indoors and outdoors is included as well as harvesting/preserving/storing help. As usual, there are recipes using the harvest. One added attraction this booklet contains is how to use the chive blossoms in flower arrangements with directions for a braided wreath.
