The Storey Country Wisdom Bulletins are 32 page pamphlets which consistently provide a wealth of information for the absolute beginner and the experienced practitioner alike. They go into sufficient detail for the average beginner to be successful in accomplishing the subject of the pamphlet and they include many helpful tips and ideas for the more experienced.
"Growing & Using Rosemary" by Bertha Reppert covers a range of topics like drainage, cultivation and propagation, harvesting and preserving rosemary as well as home remedies and a wealth of cooking ideas and recipes. There also are discussions of its antioxidant properties, the historical and religious uses of rosemary, a listing of the varieties of rosemary and a list of seed suppliers. Although I have raised rosemary for several years I found this pamphlet to be both informative and useful. The recipes are great. I have never been disappointed in a Storey Country Wisdom Bulletin and most are part of one of Amazon's 4-for-3 promotion. Eligible products include select Books and Home & Garden items. |
