Sets you straight on what to do to stay young.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Growth Hormone: The Methusalah Factor (Paperback)
This book answered my questions as to the difference between expensive growth hormone injections and the reasonable secretagogues that effect similar results. I have used the recommended supplements with terrific results. The book got me on the right track.

Doesn't work for everyone,
By A Customer
This review is from: Growth Hormone: The Methusalah Factor (Paperback)
I read the book and found it full of testimony from people that used his product that said it worked great. The shots work well but are expensive. For the average person this product is not cheap. I tried the product for two months doing exactly what the instructions said and saw absolutely no change. I'm happy for all those lucky people in the book but think others should know it is not for everyone and you can forget the moneyback guarantee I tried for months and just gave up.

The real truth about colloidal vs. other minerals.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Crystalloid Electrolytes: Your Body's Energy Source for the New Millennium (Paperback)
I thought colloidal minerals were good until I read this book. It sure woke me up. I now know how dangerous they can be. The other choices were well explained and now I am happily taking crystalloid minerals and feeling great. It is the one book needed since there was so much hype on colloidal and no one told the true story. The book doesn't bash colloidals, just explains the truth and gives you alternatives.

Great research!!,

This book IS comprehensive. It takes you through the research, trial and error of the HGH from the '60's to present. HGH has evolved into it's proven current form of efervesant dosages. The authors give exellent examples of trial runs in patients in certain age groups compared to placibos. The results are remarkable. If you read this book and know anything about physiology or animal make-up, you will be able to understand what these guys did and what their ultimate goals were. They have an excellent balance of HGH to exercise to diet ratio and themselves preach that HGH on it's own is good, however mixed with the proper diet and exercise, a person would achieve the extraordinary results. I think that the recipe needs to be followed to achieve the wanted and beneficial results. Jamieson and Dorman, also give examples of just diet and/or exercise to achieve optimum pituitary secretion without using their product "Symbiotropin". I kept asking myself how to get ahold of this stuff throughout the whole book. In fact, it wasn't until the end of the book that I realized that they even had the product available. Some of the information in the book is useful if you play the stock market. The biotech industry is always cutting edge and there is mention made of Genentech, which was a large money maker if you invested in the early '90's. This book is a great research read and I suggest you read this cover to cover. Find other research material in comparison and use the product. I will!!

Ok, But Not Comprehensive,
By Dale (Champaign, IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Growth Hormone: The Methusalah Factor (Paperback)
This book is lacking in details to support its main points. It tends to make blanket statements and purport to support them with data that are not well documented. Furthermore, it seems written mainly to sell the products the author makes. However, there some good points are made towards the end of the book when the author gives some pointers on how to induce HGH naturally and explains the process. Overall though, the claims they make about the benefits of HGH seem exagerated. Do I think that HGH will provide some benefit? Sure, but based on the cost and the lack of documented information it seems wiser to examine more information and alternatives. Buy this book as a primer-don't rely on it solely.
