Albert Payson Terhune is one the best authors I have ever read. He truly does himself justice in this book about Gray Dawn and his Master and how they solved the mystery of Grudge Mountain.

Bought this as a gift for my mom. She was very disappointed, as she has enjoyed other books by this author. She expected a book about a dog. She says that there is a dog in it, but it is peripheral to the story, and she did not find it particularly interesting.
