Grunter, Pig with Attitude,
By A Customer
This review is from: Grunter (Library Binding)
I read this book to my daughter's preschool class and it was an enormous hit. The children loved the pictures and the outrageous behaviour of the pig. This book is a good modern story of the pitfalls of bad behaviour.

a great learning experience for your children,
By A Customer
This review is from: Grunter (Library Binding)
I am a preschool teacher and I used this book as a learning experience. While reading the book we talked about how Grunter's behavior was not appropriate, and that is why the other animals did not like him. We also discussed that it is not okay to hurt other people, and that the other farm animals behavior was also inappropriate. We asked the children what they would have done instead. We had some pretty creative answers. They definitely enjoyed the illustrations, and the humor shown throughout the book. We look forward to reading the next part.

A Pig Too Big For His Trotters!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Grunter (Library Binding)
I found this hard cover book to be a light-hearted amusing look at an aspect of negative behaviour. It was well illustrated throughout, making it a perfect bedtime story book. As a parent, I really enjoyed reading the book with my child because I found it funny too! I realize that some may find this book politically in-correct, however, reading to your child doesn't stop there. I think that it is good to talk about the book with your child, and discuss other ways in which problems may be resolved.
