Very funny and entertaining,

I saw a very short clip of this performance on You Tube and decided to give it a chance. I got much more than I was expecting. These guys are very funny, great musicians with great acting abilities. This is a polish production from 2007 created and performed for polish audiences, so we are at some disadvantage even with the English subtitles. The DVD starts with what appears to be non-related commercials that got me a little confused, but once the actual presentation started it was OK. In terms of staging and technology, it is very simple, but once you listen to their music and see their face expressions, you will be captivated by the group. BTW, their name should be translated to The Mozart Group.The funny pieces are very original, at least I have not seen anything like this before, and enjoyable. My only problem is with the lack of English explanations of the program. If you want a good lough on your classical music, this is a good buy. |
