This seat cushion is not like your grandma's and grandpa's seat cushion. It is designed to take pressure off of your tailbone. It works somewhat. It's design could be a little thicker and not as hard. I recommend using it in your car seat for extra cushion and support.Also anywhere the seating is a little to soft for good support. This cushion will give that extra boost of firmness you need in your low back.I fell a few weeks ago and reinjured my low back. I was unable to sit at all untill I purchase the Gseat GeM Technology Chair Cushion Back Pain Relief.

If it has a tilt, the tilt is really subtle. The "cushion" is hard. Expensive for what it is--AND uncomfortable. Yikes.
