I was experiencing severe back pain and leg lower leg numbness from sitting for extended periods of time so I gave it a try and the pain and numbness are now gone.

This seat cushion is not like your grandma's and grandpa's seat cushion. It is designed to take pressure off of your tailbone. It works somewhat. It's design could be a little thicker and not as hard. I recommend using it in your car seat for extra cushion and support.Also anywhere the seating is a little to soft for good support. This cushion will give that extra boost of firmness you need in your low back.I fell a few weeks ago and reinjured my low back. I was unable to sit at all untill I purchase the Gseat GeM Technology Chair Cushion Back Pain Relief.

If it has a tilt, the tilt is really subtle. The "cushion" is hard. Expensive for what it is--AND uncomfortable. Yikes.

Used this gel seat on plane trips from Alaska to Europe. It definitely is supportive and I was able to rise out of my seat like a gazelle (well, an older gazelle) after a 9 1/2 hour flight from London to Detroit, thanks to the comfort and support of this gel seat. However, it is bulky and fairly heavy to carry around, so if someone plans to carry it around in a purse or bag, be aware that you need a fairly large bag to pack it around it. Would make a great stadium seat pad.

I wasn't having issues, and my wife bought this proactively. I don't see any difference from sitting on a regular chair, but I wasn't having a problem sitting all day on a regular chair. It could be great at relieving back problems from sitting - I wouldn't know!
