A double blind study showed Guai does not get rid of phosphates nor does it get rid of fibromyalgia. If it does anything, it may thin out toxins in the body in some people and make people's bodies healthier, thus they may feel less pain over time. I know tons of people that were up to 3000mg a day and didn't get well. Of course, they will say "you must be taking salicylates!". That is just another money maker to buy salyclate free products. There is no way a dab of makeup on your face would block guai. Just stupid if you know anything about chemistry.

Here is the truth about fibromyalgia...it is caused by toxins, either by environment, food, infections etc...throw in genetic make-up and you have a body
now that is inflamed that then releases glutamate, which affects the NMDA receptors. They get firing and create a feedback loop of more pain, more glutamate, more pain etc..if you have one neurotransmitter excited, then others must become inhibited...in fibromyalgia, GABA and OPIOID receptors become inhibited. Those 2 help calm the body and help pain. They now aren't working, so you really feel pain.

We are the canaries in the coal mine. The environment has done a number on our neurotransmitters. Take meds that get to the source. Take DM to calm NMDA. Take Gabitril to enhance GABA and take an opioid to get your opioids going again.

Throw your guaifenesin books in the trash. They are worthless.
