Good quick reference,

This review is from: Guam and Micronesia Fish and Critter ID (Reef watchers) (Paperback)
This small pocket guide provides a nice basis for beginning fish ID or a handy guide easy to carry in your scuba gear bag. It's small size, which makes it easily transportable and a nice quick reference also makes it necessarily somewhat limited in scope.

Way too tiny to be of any use!,

I don't think it is clear enough from the description that this is a teeny-tiny, very small, very insignificant, very superficial "ID" book. I wouldn't even call this a pocket guide--unless you had a pocket about the size of a quarter.
Considering that Micronesia is very close to the biodiversity epicenter of the marine world, this so-called guide isn't very helpful; there just isn't enough in it. I would not even recommend it for a casual snorkeler, and never for a scuba diver.

Smaller than I imagined.,

When the book arrived it turned out to be a lot smaller than I imagined. When I ordered it, I had a desk reference in mind. It's more of a pocket-guide. The colors are vibrant. It's written in both Japanese and English.
