This review is from: 15 Guaranteed Rare Holographic/HOLO Cards (no reverse HOLOs) From Base Set to Diamond and Pearl (Toy)
Unlike some of the other reviewers for this item, I actually used to play the original Pokemon card game as a kid, and I actually know a very fair amount about what I was getting. It specifically states that you will get a RANDOM drawing of holo-rares. These other people expecting Charizards because they saw one in the picture have no idea what they are doing.
With this being said, I must say that the description of this purchase is incorrect. It said I would receive a card sleeve for each individual card as well as a free pack of stickers. None of these were included (not that I care at all about stickers, but sleeves would have been super nice). Not only that, they were shipped without any protection at all in a very small packing envelope, which my mail carrier thought would fit nicely, jammed and bent, into my tiny mailbox. The cards are now all curved backwards. Having bought 206 Yu-gi-oh cards at the same time as this purchase for almost half the price (and just as many rares) I was much more impressed with the Yu-gi-oh cards. They actually were sent with protective sleeves, surrounded by packing peanuts, in a very sturdy little box, AND it came with enough cards to massively strengthen my deck/create a starter deck for my friends (yes, multiple friends). With the Pokemon cards I will now have to browse some other sites and purchase other specific cards in order to ever be able to use most of this purchase.

Great cards, some that were like the ones we had when we first traded Pokemon cards years ago. It was great to see the "old" cards again but in such great condition and new.

This is a grab bag of rare holofoil cards, all in GREAT playing condition as befitting pokemon tournament rules. Or at least my purchase was. For those new to online card purchases, the holo ink is EXTREMELY delicate. Any little brush can scratch it. A bulk purchase tends to be random PLAYABLE cards. Meaning they will have small imperfections that do not affect gameplay or casual collecting. In other words WONDERFUL for a young child who wants a lot of holos to show off to their friends as they do not tend to keep said holos in their sleeves, binders and etc. And also for party favors, casual collecting, and for trading between deck builders, or for first gens like me who smile in nostalgic glee seeing a base card in a great condition to put in my own casual binder collection. You will not get a top grade, absolute perfect 2000.00 card in a bulk lot. That doesnt happen. If you are an investor collector (One who collects for sake of selling for profit later) this is not for you. If you need a set of holo cards for your child to trade with their friends and stick in a collection box and brandish proudly at next game, this is a PERFECT and cheaper than buying boosters way of filling their binder with things to show off and trade off for that vital card for their deck. (For example, which would be preferable: To buy a Dialga or boosters until Dialga has been found for a deck, or let child trade five or six good condition Holo's to a friend or fellow league member for it?)
