Martin has been interviewed by numerous national business publications, such as Entrepreneur Magazine, which listed him as one of their top 10 marketing experts for their cover story, and is the author of Guaranteed Results, which provides an innovative hands on approach to marketing. He is also a contributor to a new book 303 Marketing Ideas. Martin recently developed a course for the American Management Association titled Lead Generation Strategies.
Martin is also a highly regarded speaker and trainer. He has developed and presented numerous programs for companies and associations across the country. He has done seminars for national and international audiences. Martins programs are directed at helping businesses improve their sales, customer service and marketing skills.

Quick read style that I like. Concepts and processes are explained and easily implemented. Increased my sales many times over in both my former business and present. If you are doing any marketing, do your self a favor. Increase your sales by reading this book!

Guarateed Results is a GUARANTEED WINNER! This has to be the easiest and best marketing/sales book I have ever read. There are well over one hundred easy to understand and simple to implement ideas within the covers of this MARKETING TOOL! Ideas from using buttons - to - putting on effective seminars - to - becoming the expert in your field and using the media to promote you as such. Martin Baird shows us how you don't have to have a multi-million dollar ad budget to get results! This book also transcends to all professions. Anyone can use these marketing/sales methods!

If you are a novice practitioner of financial planning or a new investment advisor you may get a little out of this book. The book is a random compilation of marketing ideas and tidbits that will work for some financial advisors but most of these ideas are basic common sense (marketing and sales 101). From an organizational standpoint this book is poorly written with no real main point or theme. If you are an advisor learning to grow your practice there are several other books more worthwhile; put this one at the bottom of the list.
