Book Description

A telekinetic teenager. A telepathic child. A psionic war.

Adrian Howell carries a dark secret: one that could save the world from psionic domination. But this secret must be kept even from his allies. As the Angels make their final push to end their 700-year war with the Guardians and set their sights on the rest of humanity, Adrian's small band of freedom fighters must find its way through a maze of betrayal and deceit, and somehow restore the balance of power before it is too late. And yet, as the war approaches its tipping point, the greatest battle Adrian faces now is not one that is fought with psionics, but deep within the confines of his own scarred heart. For even in the unlikely event that he succeeds in his mission, the price of victory might not only be his life, but his very soul...

Guardian Angel is the fifth and final book of Adrian Howell's Psionic Pentalogy: a supernatural adventure series with psychic children, teens and adults, telekinesis, telepathy, and many twists and turns in a harsh urban fantasy world. The Kindle edition of the first book, Wild-born, is currently being offered free or at heavily reduced cost.

Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy
(Recommended for readers 13 to 3013.)

Tabletop-RPG Players Take Note: The Psionic Pentalogy world will soon be featured in award-winning game designer Lester Smith's D6xD6 Role-Playing Game book scheduled for release in the winter of 2014.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

Guardian Angel is the fifth and final installment of the Psionic Pentalogy, so if you haven't yet read the previous books, please go back and start with the first, which is Wild-born.

To those who have followed the series this far, you have my utmost gratitude for your continued loyal support. You are now entering the final stage of this journey, and I will say nothing about it so as not to ruin it for you.

If you have already posted one or more reviews of the books in this series, know that I am doubly grateful for each and every one. Indie writers like myself do not have the support of large publishing houses for promoting our works, and as such we rely very heavily on word-of-mouth from our readers. If you haven't posted any reviews yet, please consider doing so when you finish Guardian Angel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series June 29, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I downloaded the first book thinking it looked interesting and then read the whole series one right after another. I loved the characters and Adrian's progression throughout. I was hoping for an ending that was a bit more upbeat since the entire book was a little dark but the ending did fit the series. All in all loved it.

I spent several days reading this fascinating series. Just as the characters were complex, I found myself changing my opinion and attitude towards the various characters as they developed. At the very end of the 5th book, I found myself hoping for a next series. There were unanswered questions that made me hope for answers. I highly recommend this series and thank the author for publishing the books all at once so i didn't have to wait to have the whole story.

5.0 out of 5 stars OUTSTANDING PENTALOGY!!! May 28, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is the very strong ending of a very strong story. I cannot recall a seriesnof books that I have enjoyed more, and I have read many series in my life.

Indies publishing does not havebig publicity behind it so please let my enthusiasm for this series encourage you to buy and read...I recommend it absolutely to anyone with a tastes for a tight well written sci ti type story with heroic overtones and many unexpected twists and turns and an unexpected, but wholly satisfying ending.
