great collection of stories, February 22, 2008
This review is from: Guardian Angels: Heart-Warming Stories of Divine Influence and Protection (Paperback)
This book is a great collection of stories about angels by well known fantasy and science fiction writers. All the stories were well written, touching, believable, happy/sad. This book is an overall good read and makes a nice change from most modern new age fiction.

Can there be anything more encouraging and more sensational than the idea that heavenly beings watch over and protect us? While the idea that such beings exist threatens the world view of some, for millions of people it is a source of great comfort and joy.
The eighteen stories in Guardian Angels are about such heavenly beings. Specifically written for this collection, each is about what angels do best--help men and women when they need it most--for sometimes when problems seem insurmountable, when all hope seems lost, the best help can only come from above.
The authors include: Neesa Hart, Lucy A. Snyder, Nancy Springer, Stobie Piel, Jane Lindskold, Mickey Zucker Reichert, Ken Wiseman, Charles de Lint, Jody Lynn Nye, Susan Sizemore, Laura Hayden, Stephen R. Donaldson, Tim Waggoner, Paul Dellinger, Gary A. Braunbeck, Michelle West, Von Jocks, and Bonnie Jeanne Perry.
