There are days that our home is very crowded, lots of people in and out, and those days make for a loud household, as my two dogs bark nonstop. My female dog nips at men too, which is a problem. My male dog has chewed through EVERY leash and many collars on his sister. It's been difficult, to say the least. These muzzles have been a HUGE saving grace. My male, who has managed to wiggle his way out of everything else, is NOT able to get this muzzle off. (I should add, I did put a few stitches in his, to keep the plastic piece in place, just in case.) While the dogs can growl with these on, they can't bark, they can't chew, and much to my surprise, they calm down immediately when they are put on. I absolutely recommend this item for dog owners who haven't had any luck with other ideas. I suggest, as one reviewer stated his/her dog got it off, just make sure it is tight enough, if my dog can't get it off, then I can't imagine ANY dog can! Great product. A+

This is a Godsend. Our almost two year old recently adopted Doberman is quite the biter. This muzzle keeps him out of trouble. Great.

My dog is a Maltese and this just wasn't made shallow enough for a Maltese. They have slightly "mashed in" noses and the long snout on this didn't fit over the nose very well. My dog scraped it off with his foot in about 45 seconds. But for a longer-nosed dog, it would be fine and it's very well made.

works like a charm. best thing we have gotten for our dog. we use it so he can not chew the house up.

Fits like a glove on my 2-year old beagle. Now I can stop the nipping when I trim his toenails. I bought this because it is identical to the muzzle my vet uses and wanted to sell me for more than twice the price. Great product and great value.

This muzzle fits well and is soft, but I didn't see any lining. However the seams are all covered. It works well, though. My dog doesn't have to spend any amount of time wearing it, just a few minutes at a time for manicure work.

I have a rat terrier. I bought the muzzle because when I walk my dog he likes to bark at other dogs. I was so exited to receive the muzzle but I was quickly disappointed.
Within 2 mins my dog manage to remove it. When I replace it back he managed to break it apart. This product is cheaply made. I would not recommend you buy this. I would go to your local pet store and get there opinion.

I bought this item for my 1 year old German Shepherd. For some reason he just hated one of my friends, whenever he would come over he would growl, bark, show his teeth, and try to wiggle off his collar to get at him. This is extremely unusual for my dog. My hope was that if he could just sniff my friend and hang out a little he would get over it. I ordered the muzzle, tried it on, gave him praise and treats, he tried to rip it off with all his might but could not. When my friend came over I slipped it back on, allowed my dog to smell him and be pet by him. Within five minutes my dog was off leash and off muzzle playing and doing tricks for my friend. This was well worth the price just for that experience, and who knows I may have to use it again in the future. I keep it in his little back pack he wears when we go for our walks.

Ok so I got this muzzle today for my jack russel terrier and it did not fit her very well. I got a size 2 because her snout was almost 6 inches around but I didn't know I was supposed to measure it close to the tip, around where the nose is. So with that being said I had to sow and cut about 3 different things to make it fit correctly, which all took a little over an hour. In the end I made it fit but I still need to adjust a few more things before it fits her perfectly.

Anyway, The quality of the muzzle is very good! I had such a hard time cutting it and my dog cannot get out of it for the life of her.

However, this muzzle has not prevented her from vocalizing because she still howls... Loudly -__-

got this in mail today thanks to amazon prime it took only two days and the first thing I did was to put this on my dog and cut his nails. It fits perfect and the dog couldn't snap at me for cutting his nails, problem solved.
