I bought this case for my son's acoustic guitar and he loved it .

It was well packed and I actually used the packaging to ship the guitar, an Ibanez, in the case and sent it off as a present.

For those looking for a solid case without spending too much money, this is a great option.

I was a little bit concerned about the quality of this case considering the price, but then decided it would be fine since I just needed someplace to keep my guitar in the house. I was pleasantly suprised when I opened the box. It's well made with stitching around the edge with no loose threads. It is a very snug fit for my dreadnaught, the lining is very plush, and the storage compartment is more then large enough to hold all my accessories. The clips open and close with ease, and the case also locks. The only reason I gave this case 4 stars instead of 5 was I felt that the actual padding in the case could be a little thicker, but since I am not traveling with my guitar, its fine for me. For the price, you can't go wrong!

Perfect case for my 1979 Hohner HG310. Plenty of cush inside and well made outside. Fast delivery ordered on Sunday, arrived on Wednesday!!! Will buy another.

I got the $50 standard black on black case. The case arrived within 2 days via UPS during the middle of the Christmas rush! Wow! Very fast shipping and it was adequately packaged and there was no sign of the box being abused in anyway. Regarding the item itself, I am bit lukewarm. I have a $500 Washburn and wanted something more than a gig bag for going to and from gigs and practice sessions. And I got that. Its lightweight, plenty of room in the gear box and on top of the guitar head. However, the fit is a bit loose and I don't have the sense that this case will stand up to much abuse over time. So if you have a pricey guitar or are planning to load you guitar in a truck with other gear, or might ship your guitar or take it on a plane, this case is not the one you want to buy.

Let's keep one thing in mind here, this case costs $50 bucks. That being said, it is a very good case. Since it is a hard case it provides a lot more protection than a gigbag ever could. I am using it to hold a Dean Tradition AK-48 and it fits a little tight, especially near the bottom of the body. It seems as if the case is not quite deep enough, but it does barely latch. I'm not planning on taking this case on the road or touring with it, and to expect that out of it is unrealistic. I wouldn't even think about checking this case with an airline, it will surely end up broken. However, I use it to put my guitar in when I am not playing. It occasionally travels (gently) in the trunk of my car. For this purpose, it works just great. It definitely serves its purpose, but if you need something more rugged you will need to spend a little more. The latches are cheap construction and I could see that becoming problematic down the road. Overall, the latches and the handle do feel to be stronger and higher quality than the parts used for the electric guitar version of this case.

This case is awsome! well worth the money, great condition and quality. The padding is thick and lush, and the guitar fits snug in the case! I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this to protect my favorite acoustic guitar on its international trip from Japan to the United States and I'm VERY disappointed. The case itself feels solid enough, but, the latches are next to useless. Only the locking latch actually secures tightly. All the other latches barely feel closed and open at the lightest touch. I'm using two luggage straps around the case to keep it closed and I fully expect them to be the only thing keeping the guitar in the case. Additionally, I have so little confidence that the case will stay closed on its own, I'm putting it in the box that the case came in to ship it back ahead of me instead of taking it with me in my luggage as originally planned.

I will be replacing this case as soon as I get to the States again. It will work great for a storage case in the house that will not go anywhere, but, completely useless for any sort of travel at all.

I picked up the Guardian Hardshell Dreadnaught Case for my son (12 years old) and for the price, I think it's a great case. He doesn't have an expensive guitar still nice to have a case to store it. The case is very well lined and the seems sturdy enough to the do the job.

I would recommend this case, especially given the price.
