Awesome Case,

What a case. I had to buy another case, the first one I bought was the exact same thing but paid I $75 when I bought my Jazzmaster from a place up in Boston. I bought another Jazzmaster that need its own case and I stumbled upon this awesome case again. You will not be disappointed this case is hard rock. The only down side is no metal stubs on the foot on the case to have it standing up and not damage the case skin but its fine it can be held like in the photo or on the sides. Fits Fender guitars easily (Stratocaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Mustang.) The small compartment is nice and bit to fit mostly any basic stuff. Strap, strings, etc

This is great for storage and short range transport to and from, or in transport situations where protection isn't a main concern.Use it when gig bag would suffice, but you want a cool case (at gig bag prices). The inside is the padding most musical instruments cases have, and it doesn't pull out like some, added plus. IT fit my Fender Telecaster. Its generic so it doesn't have neck / tuning head protection. It has good storage space for accessories and where the neck rests you can keep cleaning rags or other items (if you don't mind them bumping into the guitar). The case is not as solid as I thought it would be. Its a little on the flimsy side, but you get what you pay for. I would not trust this case handle if I had to run with it, or to protect my guitar when I take it on flights, or stacking other guitar cases on top of it. Get those combat rated, hard plastic/metal cases if you need protection. Also the case doesn't line up when you close it (it may on a good day) and at times you have to give personal attention to latches. The key lock takes some playing with, but works overall. But the lock is an after thought, someone really wanting to open it can use a tool to pop the locks or hinges . . . It's not like those expensive and uber cases where you shut it, run a finger across the locks and it locks like in the movies. The looks are above what its price is. Though the vinyl is average to touch, and plastic / metal parts cheap, it looks much more expensive. The stitching is actually well done. There aren't loose ends or odd pieces, and case looks well put together. The looks of this case, just great. Cons . . . The only cons is basically this case is a glorified gig bag. It offers no real protection above a gig bag would offer. In summary this is great case for the price. I would get another one if I needed it, but prudence would have me invest in a case that offers hardcore protection.

This is an inexpensive but for the money, well built case. I don't have any complaints. My Fender Strat fits snugly in the lined case and while it isn't the most durable case (I wouldn't use it to ship my guitar) it is strong enough for hauling your guitar from one place to the next.

It doesn't look bad & the inside is nice, locked it is secure & protective, but it has a flimsy feel & the latch tabs take effort to align. I got what the sale price amounted to & it beats a broken, scratched or dented guitar. I wish I had spent a bit more time looking at others & had been a bit more generous with my wallet for the sake of a better case.

I thought this case would be a little more substantial. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend putting any instrument that is too valuable in this.

Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case (Black),

The workmanship is so shoddy I do not understand these high reviews. On the case I got the screw that holds the wood hinge for the accessory compartment flap was screwed in about an inch away from where it should be to fasten the wood. So one side of the flap was not attached at all (I guess it was flapping around). There were loose staples embedded in the interior fabric (which would have done a number on the guitar) and the end of a staple and the sharp end of a screw sticking out in the accessory compartment.Very disappointing, especially with nearly a 5 star rating.

Better than a cheap gig bag, or paper board case, but NEVER try and put any guitar in these things that you care about or has any value. This case does not hold fender telecasters tightly. I bought a few of these cases for my little kids and they have cheap fender squire guitars, so no worries. If they had to actually take them outside, I would be concerned that the case would fall open, as the case locks are weak and the case is flimsy. The guitars slide around inside the cases, and the padding is not glued well. The solution, partially is to leave the straps on so the guitar has less room to move around inside the case where the body is. Who cares about the finish on a kids guitar. I want to say what do you expect for 40 bucks?, but I have Gibson and Fender cases for my expensive guitars I keep at home that actually fit the guitars for 70 bucks, and they are not made in China like the cheap ones I am reviewing here are. I am not asking for an Anvil flight case but really how much is it for a few more pieces of foam?

I got this case for an Ibanez electric guitar. I wanted something more protective than a gig bag in case it gets banged around. This case fit perfectly and has a storage compartment also.

My 15 yo needed a case so I got her this for Christmas. It's nice and the price was right. The only thing about the case seems to be that not all stickers will adhere, bumper stickers do though.

I've been building guitars for more years than I care to count and I've started putting them in these cases. It's a high-quality product for the price, and I never have to wait 6 weeks to get it. It beats paying 160.00+ for a name tag on a case.My guitars are custom high quality and I trust them to these cases... |
