The Guardian is a delightful find -- A science fiction novel with fantasy undertones -- uniquely blending both genres with actual history and romance to give the reader a grand adventure.

I look forward to Ms. Fleischer's next novel.

I have to admit I am not one that will seek out a book on paranormal adventure, but at times I am pleasantly surprised, as was the case with this read.

Author, Denise Fleischer, won my attention from the first chapter of this work and held it throughout, which is the mark of a good writer.

This is the story of a challenge, given to Crusader Lea Netera, a challenge against evil that we could never imagine, an evil that could change our world forever. Lea is given the task to make sure this does not happen and one wonders, as they are reading, just how she will accomplish this against such immense odds.

The author takes you on a supernatural journey, mixed with history and morsels of romance in this one of a kind novel.

The storyline is intense, giving you battles between mortals and demons, good and evil; and the character development brilliant causing you to actually feel as if you are one with them as they continue on with their quest. Good job!

The supernatural side of the work truly grabbed my attention and made me scratch my head with the question of how this author came up with all the characters and places that she did, and was able to merge them together keeping the storyline flowing. Outstanding job.

If you love Science Fiction, romance, adventure and history, you will love this book. A real page-turner and one you will not be able to put down.
