5.0 out of 5 stars Science Faction Revisited
I've read and evaluated a science fiction/faction novel called Guardians, written by Verse Infinitum. This 361 page novel contains a unique section called a reader's aide. This guide includes a bibliography, a list of characters, a glossary, and a technology section along with a geographic timeframe chart.

1.0 out of 5 stars No Wonder That It's Self Published
I was going to write a piece of mean-spirited humor, but decided to stick to facts instead - this book is simply much too poorly written to read. Almost every sentence (and non-sentence) is poorly constructed, and the price of self-publishing service evidently does not include proofreading for grammar or punctuation. 5.0 out of 5 stars Science Faction Revisited, May 27, 2011
This review is from: Guardians (Paperback)
I've read and evaluated a science fiction/faction novel called Guardians, written by Verse Infinitum. This 361 page novel contains a unique section called a reader's aide. This guide includes a bibliography, a list of characters, a glossary, and a technology section along with a geographic timeframe chart.
Verse Infinitum wrote a splendid story about 1500 people that will travel to a neighboring star system that contains a planet which is not only habitable but also bursting with life. What's more intriguing is that this planet's megafauna contain many of Earth's extinct species. I enjoyed reading this original novel that treats facts about Earth's prehistory and other related topics. I also recognize how this newly discovered planet hosts the most dynamic natural habitat ever described in any other science fiction story to this extent (to my knowledge).
Such cheerful and encouraging characters like Dr. Donald Netherland as well as Drs. Mack Ryan and Marcus Nimbus guarantee a rewarding reading experience. I would recommend this novel for any enthusiast interested in learning more about the dynamics of Earth's natural history. This book might be of particular interest to teenagers, science fiction aficionados, and those who like to expand their imaginary universe. Furthermore, Guardians would benefit readers who will find their vocabulary and knowledge enriched by its abundance of technological expressions, scientific information and its insightful consideration of the human condition as well as the potential of the human mind, heart and spirit.

Almost every sentence (and non-sentence) is poorly constructed, and the price of self-publishing service evidently does not include proofreading for grammar or punctuation. For example, from "About the Author" on the back cover:

"Along with his service in the United States Air Force and learning experience at Berkeley College in New York made Guardians a dream come true."

They're all like that - nuff said.
