Guardsman one wipe dust cloths are an excellent product, particularly for those with allergies, they work like no other product. Without shipping problems I'd have rated it 5 stars.

However, the seller - True Value - charges $20 for "standard shipping" for four dust clothes worth $11, that weight only an ounce or two each. I flat out don't think so. Standard shipping on a book that weighted four times as much would be only $5. Uh-uh.

I'll be ordering from somewhere else.

8/09: Amazon has taken over the shipping so shipping costs should no longer be an issue. However the cost per cloth has more than doubled. I'll still look elsewhere.

2/09: Based on the reviews below I checked my total and indeed the shipping cost was obviously in error. The stated cost is $4.99 (or $6.99 depending on where you look), but I was charged $55 for ten cloths! I contacted Amazon and they agree there is a problem and have passed the issue on to another group to resolve. They also agreed to look into previous purchasers who have been overcharged due to the error.

The cloths are awesome and I wouldn't dream of using anything else--they pick up even the finest dust like a magnet and hold on to it and they leave no residue. I use them folded and refold as a side gets "full." I can use and reuse them seemingly forever. They're an old-fashioned miracle for dusting. So find them somewhere else until this is resolved!

Pure and simple, 100% cotton, but seems to work better than most. But why is this great product just not available in shops? The shipping costs always prevent this from being a great value product.

This cloth dusts amazingly well! It picks up everything without sending it up into the air like other dry dusters. It is overpriced here,though; I bought one at my pharmacy for $3.50. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is that the edges frayed after washing just once. It still works great, tho!

We have been using these cloths for 25 years. They pick up dust very well, hold it in the fibers, and can be used for months by simply re-folding. I wouldn't use anything else for dusting.

Great dust cloths, but ordering one or even a dozen of these requires a huge shipping and handling cost. A $30 cost for 12 is fine, but adding another huge amount for s&h?? -- why would this item(s) weighing under one pound require $11 - $13 s&h costs no matter what the quantity?? I finally bought them through the True Value web site--much more reasonable!!!

I have been using these dust cloths for 40 years. My mother-in-law introduced them to me and I'm so glad. They catch all the dust and each one lasts several months. They can be washed for even longer use. I find they are hard to buy in stores in recent years, so I order them online by the dozen. I have tried other products, but keep coming back to these because of the superior job they do.

I absolutely love these cloths...They are simetimes hard to find so I am so happy I discovered that I can now purchase them through Amazon.com...Thank you so much !!!

Great product - as expected and as good as it was years ago when I used these. I don't like disposable dusting cloths.
