We travel to Guatemala several times a year, and this map is my constant companion. I've looked at everything else which is available, and the ITMB map of Guatemala is head and shoulders above any other country map I've seen. It embodies the goal of cartographers to include lots of information and yet remain easy to read.

If you need topo maps of Guatemala with more details of a particular area, visit the IGN (Instituto Geografia Nacional - the Guatemalan equivalent of the USGS) on Avenida de las Americas in Guatemala City.

The only complaint I have about this map is that it is two-sided. I had hoped to be able to mount it on our wall, but if I did we would only see half of Guatemala. On the upside, it is very detailed and helpful in getting to know the country and it's layout.

This map was very helpful in getting me throughout Belize (northern Belize is cut off on the map because of the map key), Guatemala, and part of Honduras (it covers the northern part from Copan to the coast). The map was very accurate when it came to the roads and showing whether the road was paved or unpaved. The only problem I had was finding a hot springs in southern Belize that was listed as a point on interest on the map. When I got there it was a really nasty pond that wasn't taken care of. Other than that the map was excellent!

great map. Since I purchased it for a collage project, I just wished it were all on one side.

This a great map and very detailed, however the two sided format is a little confusing. Too nice to crumple up in the car.

I didn't receive the map when it was first shiped but when I got in touch with them, maps2go quickly sent out a replacement!! Great communication and good customer service, thank you!!! This is a great up to date map that will come in quite handy on our trip.

wasexpecting a heavier coated map. i have ordered better coated , waterproof maps online before. disappointed with this one.

This is a good map for planning off-the-beaten-track trekking. I'm actually thinking of getting a different, smaller map, hopefully laminated, that would be possible to open on a chicken bus or other cramped location.

Great map,facinating and beautiful. I have a Guatamalan Grandson and want to understand where he's from.
