This album is 33 minutes of pure pleasure. Highly original, accomplished, and affecting. Stripped-down indie tunes with lots of quirky moves and a sustained dreaminess. Christy plays electric guitar, Emily plays keys, and they both sing. Reminds me of the mellow side of the Velvets and Feelies but also of old-time Appalachian ballads; the closer "Birds" is a stunner. Soooo happy to have found this album.
