First you get a guide to creating a marketing plan, and then, after a brief review of PhotoDeluxe's features, you move on to create a complete business identity via logos, business cards, stationery, brochures, letters, and Web sites. Next you learn about creating ads for magazines, newspapers, classifieds, and the yellow pages. You also plan direct-mail products, such as postcards, self-seal mailers, reminders, invitations, thank yous, and inserts. Other topics include online marketing, flyers, product sheets, signs, and holiday cards.
Much of the advice focuses on general tips for creating good ads and for using messages and media that are relevant to your needs. "How To" sidebars give you tips on PhotoDeluxe itself. For example, you learn how to perform tasks such as placing text over a photo, picking the right colors for your ad, and overlapping text entries. A CD-ROM contains business templates, fonts, and photos, as well as a full version of Adobe PhotoDeluxe, Business Edition. --Kathleen Caster

I read and very much enjoyed this entire book.. for PC'ers I would highly recommend it if the included program works as well as the book's descriptions.When I tried to load the program I found it was NOT Mac compatible. Since I have the Mac home version of PhotoDeluxe I assumed that it would work fine. Nowhere on the publication are system requirements specified. I contacted both Adobe and the publisher and neither was especially concerned. Mac fans may wish to contact Adobe and encourage them to release all their products in both formats to avoid this in the future. Good luck!
